4 Parks - 1 Day

You’ve seen it all over TikTok, and honestly that’s where I got the idea too, but I wanted to see it for myself. The 4 Parks - 1 Day challenge. Is it doable? The rules were simple, you must take every form of transportation, and in each park you must do one ride, have 1 food or drink item specific to each park (Popcorn & a bottle of Coke does not count), say hello to one character, and take a picture in front of each park icon. We had our plan all set, and then in the first park we forgot to say hello to a character. So we had to pivot and remove that requirement, but we still got it done!

Now, the day we decided to take on this challenge, also happened to be the day after Tiana’s Bayou Adventure was opening up to the public, and we decided that getting on this ride took priority over the challenge but we were still determined to make it happen. Luckily, we were able to snag an Individual Lightning Lane pass for the ride, which allowed us more flexibility in our schedule because we were able to mold our plan around it, rather than the randomness of the Virtual Queue. Because of the time of our Individual Lightning Lane, our plan was to start at Animal Kingdom, bus to Magic Kingdom, take the Ferry from Magic Kingdom to the TTC, where we would hop on the Monorail to Epcot, and take the Skyliner over to Hollywood Studios.

We started at Animal Kingdom, and everything was going great. We managed to fit in both Avatar Flight of Passage, and the Kilimanjaro Safari before the busses started Park to Park transfers at 10:00 that morning. After hitting up 2 rides, we stopped for a quick breakfast at Kusafiri in Africa where I enjoyed the Breakfast Totchos and the Coconut-flavored Iced Coffee with Amarula Cream Liqueur. While we were grabbing a quick picture in front of the Tree of Life, we got a notification that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure was down, but we decided to take a chance that it would come back up before we got to Magic Kingdom, and jumped on the bus to head that way.

By the time we got to EPCOT, we were pretty toasty, and craving some AC, so we decided to hop on a longer ride, and learned about the different crops on Living with the Land. We stopped for a quick snack at Sunshine Seasons in the Land Pavilion where I had a Cookies n’ Cream Chocolate Mousse cup. Our initial plan was to stop for some champagne in France, so we only ended up grabbing a coke from this Quick Service location. From there we headed to take some pictures, and I decided I also wanted to grab a Croque Glacé from L’Artisan des Glaces in the France Pavilion. After grabbing this, one of the girls in our group started to not feel well, so we grabbed some shade in Morocco before hopping on the Skyliner to Hollywood Studios.

While we were catching up with some of the other Fantastical Vacations Agents at the Enchanted Rose inside the Grand Floridian, there was a break in the storm and we got notification that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure had come back up. Because it was down during our return time earlier, we had an anytime pass, so we decided to head back over to Magic Kingdom to hop on the ride quick. We grabbed a quick dinner at Columbia Harbor House (Where I kind of cheated and got a coke and some chicken strips), before catching Happily Ever After.

Unfortunately, when we got over to Magic Kingdom Tiana’s was still down, so we didn’t spend much time here. We were here just long enough to order a custom celebration pin from Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe and snap some pics in front of Cinderella’s Castle before hopping on the Ferry and making our way to EPCOT. We decided that we would try to hop on Tiana’s towards the end of the night, or make our way back to Magic Kingdom if it came back up later on. Because of this, we weren’t super concerned with grabbing a Magic Kingdom specific snack before heading on our way.

When we left Epcot, we decided to quick hop on Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway before meeting up with some other agents at Baseline Tap House. Unfortunately, the weather had different plans for us and we ended up sneaking out of the park after one ride and a quick snack due to the rain. There were a bunch of agents gathering at the Enchanted Rose for a drink, that we decided to join while waiting out the rain.

Now, obviously we didn’t hit ALL of the requirements (Skipping out on the characters, and obviously not grabbing a food & drink specific to each park). However, we were able to turn the 4 parks - 1 day challenge into a 5 park (MK twice) and a lounge - 1 day challenge. So I would definitely still consider that a win. This was such a fun challenge, and I would definitely do it again if I had the opportunity!
